How does table booking work?

A guest books from the same page as your menu, so they can see your dishes and prices before they choose a time.

1. The guest opens your menu page and asks for a table: their name, phone number, how many people are coming, and the date and time.
2. They can add a note, such as a birthday, a high chair or a quiet corner, and they get a booking code straight away.
3. The request appears under Bookings on your dashboard, waiting for your answer.
4. You confirm or decline it from your phone, and mark the guests as arrived when they come in.
5. The guest checks the status with their booking code whenever they like.

Guests do not need an account or an app to book. The Bookings screen stays signed in during service, so it can stay open on a phone or tablet at the counter.

What does a table booking system cost?

Nothing on MenuBangla: there is no monthly fee and no charge per booking or per guest. Many booking tools sold to restaurants charge a monthly fee or a fee for each booking, which adds up quickly for a small restaurant.

Bookings come with the same free account as your QR code menu and table ordering, so there is nothing extra to sign up for.

Why take bookings online instead of by phone?

Online requests arrive written down, with the name, number, party size and time in one place, so nothing is lost in a busy room or forgotten on a slip of paper. You answer when you have a moment instead of picking up the phone in the middle of service.

Regulars can still call you. The online form simply catches the guests who would rather not, including people looking at your menu late at night.

Can I turn bookings off?

Yes. Bookings are switched on when you start, and you can turn them off in your restaurant details whenever you would rather take walk ins only. If you mark the restaurant as temporarily closed, guests cannot book a table before the date you reopen.
