What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Pages work with a keyboard and screen readers, text can be enlarged, animation follows your device's reduced motion setting, and the restaurant map has a list of the same restaurants beside it.
How we check
We test public pages with automated checks (axe) and by hand with a keyboard. The last check was on 16 October 2026: menus, sign up, sign in, the community feed and the legal pages passed, and colour contrast problems found on the home and Explore pages were fixed.
Known limits
- The 3D dish view on large screens is decorative; every dish is also listed as text.
- Restaurants upload their own photos and menu cards; a photo of a printed menu is not readable by screen readers, so we ask owners to add their dishes as text too.
- Some restaurant owner screens have not yet had a full manual check.
Tell us about a problem
If something is hard to use, email menubanglabd@gmail.com with the page and what happened. We aim to reply within five working days.
