Video tutorial

How to use MenuBangla, step by step.

MenuBangla gives your restaurant a free QR code menu. In a little over a minute, this video shows you how to sign up, add your menu from a photo, print a QR code for every table, and take your first order. Choose Bangla or English, then press Sound on.

A walkthrough with a Shondha Café example: from a printed menu to an order paid by bKash.

What the video covers

  1. How do I sign up?

Sign up for free with your restaurant’s name, your name and your email. There is no card to add and no commission on orders.

  2. How do I add my menu?

Take a photo of your printed menu. Jambo, the MenuBangla assistant, reads it and types in every dish with its price. Check the list, fix anything, and save. Sample photos are added to dishes that have none, and you can type dishes in yourself at any time.

  3. How do table QR codes work?

Tell MenuBangla how many tables you have and you get a QR code for each one, ready to print for a table tent, a sticker or the till. Each code knows its table number.

  4. How do guests order and pay?

Guests scan the code at their table. There is no app to download and no account to make. They choose their dishes and pay by cash, bKash, Nagad or Rocket.

  5. Where do orders arrive?

Every order lands on your dashboard with the table number, and a little chime tells you it is there. Move it to preparing, then ready, and mark it paid.

  6. What if I get stuck?

Ask Jambo. Type in Bangla, Banglish or English, for example “notun dish add koro: beef tehari 250 taka”, and Jambo prepares the change. You check it and press Confirm.

  7. What else can I do?

Take table bookings, run offers and loyalty points, print a menu card with your QR code on it, and see your sales. All of it is free.
